Everything you need to know about Swissbeatbox and Grand Beatbox Battle.

SBX & GBB

Swissbeatbox (also known as SBX) is the world’s largest beatbox community and provides beatboxing video clips from artists from all over the world. We film and promote beatboxers and organize some of the biggest beatboxing events in the world like the Grand Beatbox Battle. Our clips can be seen here on this website, on our YouTube channel and of course across all social networks; Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and others. Across all channels, Swissbeatbox reaches about 10 Million fans, followers and subscribers.

Swissbeatbox stands for the quality of beatboxing. By working inside the beatbox community for more than 10 years, we see ourselves as trendsetters. We always find new ways to push this art form forward, hold it as a trend and help the scene grow. We showcase incredible material from professional beatboxers and give new talents a platform.

The aim is to motivate everyone who watches our video clips to beatbox themselves. We also give featured artists a reason for continuing and thus showing them that they are literally redesigning what we know about the limitations of the human vocals. We are not just documenting, we are leading this vocal revolution, through the art of beatboxing.

Grand Beatbox Battle is one of the world’s most renowned and longest-running international beatboxing competitions, organized annually by Swissbeatbox.

Each year, the event brings together the global beatboxing elite to compete across multiple categories, including Solo, Loopstation, Tag Team, Crew, Producer. The GBB follows a classic tournament format, where artists perform live on stage in head-to-head battles judged by a panel of respected beatbox professionals. To secure a spot in the main event, participants submit online wildcards, win national or international qualifiers, or advance through an elimination round during the competition.

A Global Legacy

Founded in 2009 in Switzerland, the first Grand Beatbox Battle began as part of the BScene Basel music festival, initially featuring only Swiss competitors. In 2011, the event opened its stage to international talent - marking the start of a global tradition that has grown into one of the most anticipated gatherings in the beatboxing community.
From 2023 to 2025, the GBB took place in Tokyo, Japan, celebrating the art of vocal performance in Asia’s vibrant capital.

Now, the legendary battle returns to Europe — landing in Warsaw, Poland, where a new generation of beatboxers will make history once again.
